What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) are small pieces of data a website stores on your device. This policy covers the Roomit AI marketing website (roomitai.app). Data handling inside the Roomit mobile app is described in our Privacy Policy.

Categories we use

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential categories. Your choice is stored in a small roomit-consent entry so we don’t ask again on every page.

  • Necessary (always on). Remember your theme and language and record your cookie choices. These do not track you and cannot be switched off, as the site needs them to function.
  • Analytics (opt-in). Anonymized usage statistics (via PostHog) so we can see what’s broken and improve the site. Only loaded if you opt in; not linked to your identity.
  • Marketing (opt-in). Reserved for future campaign attribution. Not used today, and nothing loads unless you opt in.

Third-party cookies

With your analytics consent, we use PostHog for anonymized product analytics. Our hosting/CDN provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary operational cookies to deliver and secure the site. We do not embed third-party advertising or social-media tracking pixels.

Managing your choices

You can change your choices at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though necessary cookies are required for the site to work. If you clear your browser storage, we will ask for your preferences again on your next visit.

No cross-site advertising

We do not use cross-site advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Analytics data is anonymized and used only to operate and improve Roomit.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy as our site or tools change; when the cookie inventory changes we re-prompt for consent. Questions? Reach us via our contact page.
